  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

It isn't "random", but set at 30 minutes of inactivity, after which you're required to log-in again, unless you checked the "Stay Logged In" box when logging in initially, as you said.
I don't know what you mean regarding the clearing of dismissable announcements, and what that has to do with it?

Problem with the search feature. I keep getting this message.

'The following error occurred: The search cannot be completed. Please try again later'.

Yes, we appear to have a hardware (server) error, not a XenForo problem, but there's nothing we can do until our owner, cayne, re-surfaces to deal with our hosters!

This is a trivial update for anyone that's as slow on the uptake as me!

Just realised that when viewing a post with "Likes" shown, if one clicks on the "n others" a box appears showing all who've "liked" the post, sorted newest to oldest!
Of course I might be the last person to discover this! Hopefully it works for all, and not just Staff members?

I've just discovered how to add members' postcounts (messages) and likes received below their usernames. Not pretty, but effective! :)

I think Firefox updated sometime during the last week and since that update I have no reply box, hitting like goes to another screen, the notices at the top of the screen that scroll across aren't there at all, and if you hold the cursor over the alerts button they don't drop down like they did before. But I have another forum I'm on that uses the XenForo software and everything is normal there so I don't know what's happened. I posted this using Chrome but it's not my preferred browser, Firefox is.

hmm, I just did a FF update and it seems to be like it was before.
Wonder what setting it could be to do that...

I'm on Firefox Quantum [59.0.1(64 bit)] which is the completely up-to-date version, and I don't experience any problems such as have been described - with phun.org or anywhere else..

Hmmm! Have you got pop-ups blocked on Firefox? And if you have, have you whitelisted phun.org (made phun.org an exception)?
