If there is a way to change the background color I'm going to pick pink.

I don't care how many thanks I get I just to use it in the gen forum and the celeb forum to let people know I saw their thread/comment.

If a change is to be made, something beneficial must come to the members. A single thumbnail photo on the left would be the way to go. The layout is ordinary at best. I'm sad to see the old PHUN go especially the thanks button. I probably won't post content because of that single fact.

I say bring back the old theme. This one sucks. I used to be able to click on go at the end of a thread page and return to the current forum. Can't do that now.

Oh no biggie to me, Salts - growing pains are expected when these type of forum upgrades take place. Was just curious if there are any newer/bigger features that this upgrade touts that weren't previously available, 'tis all.

If we do get the "thanks" button back, will we get our counts back or would we be starting from 0 again?

I hope the members' posting histories come back fully (I notice that my last post according to my profile's current information was in 2005 before some of the posts I made today after the update). I like to see what threads I have posted in, especially if it is a model I like seeing countless times.

I thought i had been directed to one of the forums I used to visit long time ago..

As Thore said maybe its we old foggies who are more at ease with the way things are.
Too lazy to go around looking for features which are an improvement on the previous design..

Spider was closing on to 300,000 thanks which for some inexplicable reasons have been erased, all that gratitude just forgotten..

As another member said in absence of the thanks count my posts will also definately dwindle as for some of us it was one way
of keeping track of many things...

All in all, with due respect to all the work gone in the new design, it is a big NO from me..:2cent:

 

if we get the proper hack to work i hope all old numbers will be back

We appreciate all comments a.tab even the ones that arent entirely positive. That just adds to our passion to get things better for you guys.

Improved anti-flood option will be a nice idea too. To avoid people to spam 10-15 threads in few seconds.

As you say, let's not take this off topic...

So, these changes: they suck! The layout is generic (there's not even a bloody banner!), the search is even more broken than before, and how am I ever to thank one for their post without a Thank button? This upgrade is a major downgrade and needs to be reversed, immediately!

Just kidding. But today hasn't gone quite as I'd hoped . Take your time time with the improvements. Working in IT, I know what it's like to deal with demands and expectations by those with little understanding of the work being done (slagging them off behind their backs and relegating their issue to the back of the queue is the norm :wink. I'm sure, before long, we'll be searching and thanking up a storm, in surrounds at least as beauteous as before the change. If not, everyone's always welcome at my site - well, when it's finally re-launched. And provided they're interested in the one celeb it features. And they don't need post counts, a Thank button, or any real community engagement. Ah, who needs ya anyway!

 

I understand the search feature is under review. If you search KRISTIN STEWART you get every kristin, every kirsten, every stewart, the poster know as kristin, and one kristin stewart. Not very effective. The old search would have brought up ONLY kristin stewart. I hope it goes back tot he old search and I hope the advanced search goes back to the old way. Thank you.

 

Maybe it's just me, but i was unable to click those resized photos to open up the fullsize image to save... So i am stuck looking at a jaggy resized photo on the screen. Resize feature works, capability to open up the fullsize doesnt. Unless of course thats just how resize rolls.

 

you guys going to enable tapatalk with all the other changes (crossing fingers)?

 

I really need that search function to work i hope it will be available soon.
