Lets see this is a random chat so how about we chat about something random I know we'll chat about the fact that the Cubs haven't won the World Fuckin Series in 100 fuckin years. I'm pissed that one of the players predicted a win dont they know they just jinxed the fuckin season.

My sporting team had gone 44 years without winning the premiership, and i thought that was a lifetime.

We finally won the title in 2007, so maybe there's hope for the Cubs yet.

they been having decent players added, i just hope they can pull it together for a nice run. On paper they have a good shot. anybody know what the bookies are giving the odds on the cubs this year?

To clarify the situation, one of the cartons was taken to our Australia Day party and my brother and I got through 24 between us (and then there were the champagnes and jaegers) so it's been steady since. Usually there's 3 of us, occasionally we get rellies over who might have one or two.

Back on topic, were the Cubs the team that were almost into the WS final when that fan dude caught the ball and they lost the series and he got absolutely ridiculed?

And tell me about flag droughts. My team has gone 4.5 years without a flag, I'm desperate for the drought to end. Jenn would sympathise with me

I'll ignore that shoddy NAB Cup effort and go back to last year. I recall JB kicking 7 big ones and winning the Coleman, and Corey Enright losing his pants, that's about all I recall from that game

 

if the Florida Marlins can win it twice with a cheap ass owner the cubs should be able to get at least something close to playoff contention this year.
