    I was lucky because another part of me is really hyper anxious to begin with. That's why it conflicted with my system. One of my guitar players succumbed to it in the 1990s. If you like it, you're usually fucked.

    Coke has killed a couple of close friends of mine, and a few others I really didn't give a shit about, but there you go.

    Funny thing about coke... I had a terrible overbite when I was a lad so I got braces early, this meant lots of time with the orthodontist. Novacaine soon became my friend because of various tooth removals, jaw repositionings, and other tortuous things I'd rather not think of. For those of you that don't know, novacaine and tetracaine (common dental anastalgas) are both far more potent than even the highest grade coke, so coke really had no appeal to me.

    but at the dentist it was used to numb you. Kinda hard to imagine it's even similar to doing coke. You know with heavy drinking, nightlife and whatever else might be part of the experience...
