Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Terry is off the hook, he's come alooooooong way since I first heard him in the mid-70's.

    It's fairly mind boggling how many of today's great talents were 'discovered' by Frank Zappa. He really knew talent when he saw it.

    On Clapton's Crossroads 2007 Guitar Festival DVD, Vinnie plays with both John McLaughlin and Jeff Beck. Two totally different styles of playing, and he shreds on both. You should check it out. ;)

    And these are just the 'popular names' (for those in the know) that we're talking about. So many others... So, so many others. Jazz greats, session players, all the speed metal guys, the unsung heroes of rock, the guys we hear at the local club... Dudes we've never heard and aren't going to because they never make it past the 'garage band' level. So much talent on so many levels in every genre on every instrument that won't get their just recognition. :?
