i have never seen the film and glad for it. dont let anyone tell you about it and read it, the first third is nothing to do with space and amazing and the last third totally knocked me for six.

 

Books I find extremele memorable are Alaska by James Mitchner and Hogsfather by Terry Pratchett.

oyster boy is the crappest story in it but the rest are ace.

I have completed two novels and have a third in the works. It's a series. I have 3 more in outline form.

Otherwise I have written about 80 columns or stories for periodicals, mostly observational stuff, and some recreational pieces.

 

Thats impressive. I tell all my friends who go to university and complain that they have to do a 5000 word essay in two weeks that they have it easy. i can knock out 10,000 words a day. tomorrow when i am sober i'll send you a couple of short stories.

Okay cool. I probably won't get around to reading them for awhile though. Whenever I'm writing, I rarely read other peoples work because it fluences my style in subtle fashions, don't ask me why. Once I get the voice of the story set in my mind's ear I try to avoid outside influences. I even avoid reading the news. Call me quirky, but there you go.

couple of my crew were pissing me off, but I showed them the right way to compact the gravel on the runway and my foreman has it good for the rest of the night. so I decided to call it an early night.
