no my last day here was going to be August 6th. 9 years and 6 months to the day I started.

HR is going through the appeals process that is one week too.

if anyone thinks I fucked them out of their job and they think they are more qualified then they were and can appeal my hiring.

I mean, i remember back in the day, i'd pull a 14/15 hour shift if the production needs required it, but then came the Working Time Directive, one of the few decent fucking things to come out of Brussels.....Strasbourg....Brussels....wherever the fuck they are this week.

Can't do more than 13 hours in one shift. And you have to have a minimum of 11 hours in between. And if you want to do more than 48 hours a week, you have to sign an opt-out....which, of course, everyone does. In Britain, anyway.
All that means is that one job i did a few years ago, during a seasonal crunch, was 13 on, 11 off, 7 days, for three weeks. That's 91 hours, for those who can't be bothered to click on their calculators.

Not comparable to inuk, but jesus....18 hour day? Fuck.
