Yeah I've come across that already but the problem is it's impossible to find in the UK.

 

ohhh i love the building and repair... it's my hobby... a new laptop to repair for me is like christmas morning is to a kid

I don't mind it from time to time for a change but not everyday. I did it several years and just got tired of it.

Thank you jezek, that would be great. My Dad lives in America so if worst comes to worst I can get him to order it and bring it here, but I'd have to wait months for it then. I kind of need it ASAP.

 

for me it's either this or cars, this is cheaper, so it keeps my better half happier...
((i can sneak in a new pc or laptop, but damn, a car is harder to hide))

 

Thanks Cold, that is useful. I'm just gonna open my comp up tomorrow and have a good look at the motherboard. I tell you what, I'm definitely gonna build my next PC, much cheaper and easier to upgrade then.

 

AFX I have to go by and pick up a cpu and memory in a few minutes(thank god work is almost over) I'll have him check his suppliers and let you know. i ship things to Germany all the time and the cost isn't as bad as you might think sometimes.
