here's how i got my cats..

on New Years eve about 5-6 years ago, i went outside for a cig, the first 2 times this cat came up to me, so i pet him a little and went back in..

the 3rd time i went out she hopped on my lap, so i took her in and kept her..

Michigan lost to USC in the Rose Bowl the next day so i named her Jinx..

then, the night before Valentines day she had 2 kittens!

now i have 3 cats!

Nobody can tell me what he is, but I think he's the result of farm cats going back to wild in the Oklahmoa prairies for a couple hundred years. He as all of the characteristics of the African Sokoke, including bloodwork, but it turns out the Sokoke is just an English domestic that was lost in Kenya in the 1860s. So, imo, Sharpy is probably what cats would be like in the wild, not just feral, but reverted back 50 generations or so. Besides, what domestic cat is 17 pounds and 4 feet long stretched out not including his tail? I have to be really careful when i let him out because he killed a couple strays, the last one about a 2 weeks ago when he dove thru the living room screen door screen, pounced on it and broke it's neck before I could even get out of my chair.

Lol, 4 FEET long not including tail, and 17 pounds, and he aint fat at all. He hits like the lions on tv. springs over his target, sinks his teeth in just behind the skull, rolls over their back going forward, and twists when he comes down. Dead target. He practices on my hands. He gets behind me and dives forward, grabbing the back of my wrist and rolling forward. If I dont see him coming, there's generally a good bit of blood involved. Eh, I'm used to it, and he's just the right kind of pet for me. It can be irritating with the blood though.

i'd love to have a baby tiger or something like that, that would never get big, just stay a little tiger his whole life, that would be awesome!
