  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I did that but the file size was over the limit so it makes them clickable thumbs with no other choice. There's a way to change it but I'm not getting it right.

    Here is what you do......after you upload it, click the thumbnail, when its fullsize, right click on it to the properties, and then insert that in the [​IMG]

    Or, if you're smart, and you're using firefox, just simply right click and press "copy image location" and get the URL that way.

    I have firefox but I don't use it - not that I don't like it but all the intranet apps that we run here require IE so I just use it all the time.

    yep, and the all require no higher than Version 6. When Windows Update put Version 7 as a critical update it screwed us big time - it's optional now thanks God.
