  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I am excited about learning to do animated GIFs - just downloaded some software, but most likely will ot be able to start playing with it until September due to a very busy month of August....:p

    i use EximiousSoft Gif creator, im not very good at it, so i can only makes gifs the size of the vid im using, so i have to shink the vid in a video converter first.

    I have Animation Shop - Have not even opened it yet, so I don't know what it will or will not do yet. My main thing that I want to be able to do is to create a GIF will multiple nested GIFs within it; i.e., start with a blank "sheet" and be able to copy other animated gifs into it, move, size, modify, etc. We shall see! :p
