    Having lunch and checking out the box score from last night.

    The Red Sox have done an awesome job building a deep roster this year. Schilling, Buchholz, and Beckett have all had injuries of some sort; they've had Masterson step in for a couple starts with a sub-2.00 ERA. And they have Bartolo Colon coming up tonight to see if he's got anything in the tank after some impressive starts in AAA.

    They've had injuries to Lowell, Lugo, Cora, and Drew and have had a couple of kids (Lowrie and Moss) step it up and fill in well, along with great backups in Sean Casey at 1B/3B and Coco Crisp at CF to fill in for the injuries.

    All while cutting payroll--the homegrown kids (Lester, Bucchholz, Ellsbury, Pedroia, Papelbon, Masterson) have all been great.

    Just an awesome job by this front office, learning from the injuries in 2005 and setting things up to have the depth to deal with DL stints.
