  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    The processor is kinda overkill but we need all the memory we can get. Working on 48 pages full of tiff pictures eats up some memory. :)

    We don't use word for anything. Everything is done in Adobe Photoshop and Indesign. This is the reason I do my sigs in Photoshop... I get to install it on my computer at home for free! :D

    Actually working with graphics is very processor intensive, especially when you're laying out the design of the page - it's the processor that handles those functions, not the memory.

    I edited your comment Mel, look at it again.

    No, the word documents would be memory intensive.
