Im good...i have the air-condition on...to stand the heat...and its still 10 in the morning...

it was nice to see some ducks and geese too. that was cool.

there is some water between the shore and ice too. so you have to drive your snowmobile at a high rate of speed before hitting the water or have a very high powered snowmobile that I have. one kid with a passenger wasn't going fast enough and he only had a 500 cc liquid cooled sled. he hit the water and the front end started bobbing up and down in the water, he lost all his momentum and just before he hit the ice his back end of his snowmobile sunk. front end was a little in the water too, so he had some water in the motor.

looked fucking cold too, the chick on the sled wasn't happy! they both were in around 3 feet of water. they pulled out the snowmobile and took out the spark plugs, put the sled on the side and pulled on the starter cord around 75 to 90 times. got all the water out.

LOL that looked cold!

there are roads but not on the lakes that the fish are on spider. there was only around 60 feet of water to go on. no big deal. hell I've gone for miles on water with my snowmobile but it's an 800cc liquid cooled and I had no one else on with me. this guy only got a 20 foot start. not good with a passenger! the other guys had a long start with passengers and made it no problem.

 

I don't know much of how it is there so if I ask stupid questions let me know. I know you have to get booze flown in but ow about stuff like pop and meat(beef/pork)

 

hey no worries spider, it's cool to ask.

yeah regular stuff like food is brought here. but booze can not be sold locally here legally. you have to fly that in. sucks.

 

So there are no bars, pool halls, or anything like that were the locals can socialize?

 

there is an Elks Club that is open on Fridays spider.

heh the water wasn't that deep spider.

only like 3 feet deep. I've gone over 10 miles around a lake a few times. the track was over 1 1/4 inch thick lugs, threw a lot of water. I was only going half throttle too. if I started to sink I just gave it more power to stay on top.

it is very cool how you turn too. you lean the snowmobile in the direction you want to go, in that vid I leaned to the left, I turned the skies in the opposite direction to the right and the left ski acts as the keel and the sled leans to the left. it's very cool!

 

Do most people have those vehicles...they are snowmobiles right?

yes a lot of Families up here own them. they are pretty much a must in the winter. so much fun to hunt with!

no I have to watch that one.
