This is why I have no real social life. Worked 16 on Friday, came back into work at 7:00 p.m. Saturday and worked until 4:00 a.m. Sunday, then back in at 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. today. Kinda hard to do anything like that.

 

at least you can make a money grab nowadays br ... could help you make an early retirement hopefully.

 

but then your to old to enjoy all that money. I am in a similar situation...work about 80-90 hours a week between 3 jobs. Not fun.

 

but if u can retire at 45-50 you're not really old ... i agree, it's nicer to use it while you're 20-40, but having nothing but time and a huge retirement fund/pension is something to look forward to.

Sad to say, i got canceled on....AGAIN. I think this is over before it got started. She has canceled on me as many times as we have had actual dates. She called me last about 7:30 last night and told me she couldn't make it. Said sorry a few times, i tried to hide my annoyance and just told her i would talk to her later in the week. Think this is pretty much over. She is super hot, but my pride can't take any more of this shit.

juice, did she give a reason why she couldn't make it? i know how you feel. i'm sure you know that when you get that doubt in your head about something, it's usually for a good reason. i would be very irritated at this point and would forget about her. i, like you, have too much pride to put up with stuff like that. leave the ball in her court, and see what she does with it. unfortunately, some women just don't have the guts to tell a guy they are not interested. they will just play bullshit games with you till you give up instead of cutting to the chase. i don't know if that's what's happening here, but that's happened to me more than once. after about 2 things i deem to be "hints," they are done. i have close to zero patience for crap like that. good luck buddy, and let us know how things go. maybe she's legit. who knows.

 

Yeah, I am not calling her again. If she calls me, and i have nothing else going on, then we will see about going out. I don't think she is seeing anyone else, and I think she actually does like me, I jsut think she is a legitimate ditz, which still doesn't make what she does right. Like you said, the ball is in her court, I am done chasing. On to the next Ho!

Normally i would totally agree. The only thing that is throwing me off is she has called me a few times just to shoot the shit with me. Why bother if she is not interested? Girls are nuts.

on a serious note, from what i've read, i think you were TOO nice juice. Girls think they can walk all over the nice guys. its okay to cancel or break off a date because they know you'll forgive them. With this one girl I was messing around with back in college, every time she canceled on me, I would actually try harder to get her to go out or make an effort to call her. It wasnt until i started avoiding her or deleting her emails did she finally start putting effort into seeing me.

A strange being these girls are. Any other living being would die if they bled continuosly for more then 4 days.
