Only afternoon here, lazing about. Gonna go out and catch up with a few friends for a quiet beer or two this evening, try be home before 11 so can get up early for work tomorrow. How's everything with you?

Having the same problem as brcook - MAJOR insomnia attack this past week - not more than 4 hours sleep a day & averaging closer to 2-3, so I'm hurting... so sitting here on my first night off, relaxing with a beer, looking at beautiful women & hoping that eases my brain enough to sleep well...

sounds good for a night out Kieks - we're doing that tomorrow with some friends as well, and it's my turn to cook so I'll fire up the grill again.

 

I thought I was going to work tonight, so I slept all day long to be able to stay up overnight...........then they canceled the work......now I can't fuckin sleep............and I didn't get paid, fucked and fucked again.

 

Damn that sucked - at least the days I was up for work this week I got paid for.

 

Well this was all under the table shit........all cash, but we had storms in the area tonight and the work was outdoors, so they canceled..........2 hours later the storms are gone, and I sit at home unable to sleep, and broke.............damn

 

Started work Thursday, so the weekend came really quickly, which was pleasing. Gonna be a punishing full week starting tomorrow though, oh well. About time I did the hard yards again.

Fuck insomnia, I hate it when you know you want to sleep but just can't do it. Then when you have to get up you're all sluggish and want to keep sleeping.

 

Yeah Kieks, that was my week - lay in bed, toss & turn, try reading & that didn't work, try self-abuse & that didn't work, just one of those phases... guess it's age catching up with me

It's a boring afternoon, probably should go grab an hour or two sleep later but can't be bothered right now. Playing some old Sega Mega Drive games on the PC that I originally owned in 1993, probably makes me the saddest bastard alive

No I'm the pitiful fucker sitting here drinking beer, reading a book, listening to music & typing to a forum every five minutes...

 

That's multi-tasking at it's best! As long as the beer keeps flowing, then all is good. Am not happy to not completeing the stages in this game, so am resetting it when I lose without saving, check what's going on here, eat a few more corn chips, then try again at the game, whilst the TV is on with sports in the adjacent room.
