Tonight is that Daylight Savings shit here in the states. Don't know if that would be an issue yet?
We don't turn them ahead here on the East Coast for about another 5 hours.

 

We've been in daylight savings for a few months now, still a few weeks before we revert back to normal time.

 

No shit Jenn...I didn't think you guys bothered with it. There's a big movement here to do away with it. Myself....I don't give two shits either way this time of year. :2cent:

 

well i would prefer they just keep the time the same, becuase we don't live in a farming society why even bother changing it for more daylight when all city folks stay up late anyways.

 

Exactly azz. Here in Maine, in winter, it's dark till 6-7 a.m, and in the afternoon it's dark by 5. So what the hell difference does it make?

 

We have one state that refuses to use DST, which makes the timezones confusing.

It doesn't really bother me either way. The only impact it has on me is that it's an hour later that it gets dark during DST.

 

exactly my thinking, if you stay awake 16 hours a day and there is just 9 hours of daylight what difference does it make if you get it at the sunlight at the begining vs. the end of your day? it still only 9 hours of daylight! :-?

we have two sates here that doesn't use DST arizona and hawaii.

He's in Australia, like me. Our daylight savings is over at the end of the month (and thank fuck for that), but my clock is 1 hour ahead also.

When i was a little younger it got to the point where we'd take the phone off the hook to avoid siblings calling up, shitcanned, and rambling.

Thankfully they've all settled down now.

 

Whilst Kieks and i are in the same country, we're on opposite sides of the country (akin to him being in LA, me in New York).

So i'm two hours ahead of him (it's 1.10pm on Sunday arvo here).
