Look at the exchange between us again. How many "inquiries did he made?" it was not just 1 time. My job to clean up the forum does not mean i have to spend time explaining it for a third time. I don't have the time to entertain a debate over forum rules. If he wanted a debate over it make a new thread to talk about it.

You are incorrect. The Miley Cyrus thread was just ribbing and it has no affect in my decision making or how I treat people on the forum. If that was the case I would have banned snakefinger long ago.

Ugly compared to who? Last i checked we never have rules against "ugly" sigs. Read it again if you are not sure.

That is exactly the point It is for reporting rules violations. There are many things on here that are judgement calls that the mods make. We don't have rules to definitively address every situation down to specific details. If we did it would be as thick as the bible and by then nobody would care to read it.

Now to this insight, what is this you know that i don't about myself?



Just a final note on this subject. The sig size rules is designed for 3 main purpose. The rules we have written about it addresses 3 main issues:

1) Spam in sig
2) 450x150 is to deal with size so it won't distort the page.
3) File size - so it doesn't take forever to load.

So if you look at the basic criteria his sig contains links to other threads on the forum so it is not spam, it is links that do not distort the size and shape of the forum, and it does not take long to load.

So everything else is either irrelevant or judgemental based on our part. We will not make a list of everything that is minutely managed where size of font and how many characters are maximum. And we will refuse to make a rule against judgement calls on "beauty."
