Okay...this is the weird part....I don't really know what's in there, I was kind of hoping you'd say no and let your imagination plague you every time you take a sip....but that didn't work out.

This was the first time I heard Pelican based on a recomandation from Amazon, frankly I prefer Red Sparrows or Explosions In The Sky.

That's what you get when you try and mislead someone! I assume it to be some half ass attempt at a lemon-lime flavoring, and they thought it'd be a good gimmick to make it look like antifreeze. What a terrible terrible drink, give me a tea any day of the week!

Damien Jurado, yeah I heard his last album on Secretley Canadian, forget what it was called, "Caught In A Tree"? or something like that. It was decent, more pretty music than anything else. Nice harmony for sure though.

Yes it was called "Caught In The Trees", I have a couple of his albums some of his songs are really good although his early work is nothing special.

 

Yeah I wasn't impressed enough with that one album to delve any deeper into his back catalog. It's not something I'd turn off, but definitley not something I'd go out of my way to get a hold of either.

That's the case for a lot of music though.

 

I listen to a lot of different stuff, some which I don't particularly like, but I try to get what I can from each song, images, ideas, views, etc.

 

Yeah I agree, I'm never too quick to dismiss something. If I don't like it at somepoint I'll leave it alone for a while and come back to it.

Anyways, let me know what you think of the record. I love the guitar work especially!

Way too unnatural.

 

It's how she was in the movie, but it just doesn't play in the `real` world.
