Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I've downloaded a bunch of album files that way. The only drawback is that the tracks aren't separated so in order to search for a song you have to skip ahead like you would on an old cassette tape. Kind of ironic. :lol:

    I had loads of tapes once upon a time, and then CD's. Then I converted all the CDs to mp3 and sold them to used record stores or gave them away. Now I wish I had them all back. mp3 is too compressed. The sound quality isn't the same, so I'm thinking of going back to CDs again.

    Parents are fine, my dad couldn't be better. My mom is developing macular degeneration in her eyes, which happens with age and is incurable. Most people who live long enough will develop the problem. However, certain vitamins will help prevent rapid deterioration, so there's your silver lining. She's not upset about it because it doesn't stop her from watching sports on TV. :lol:

    I wish I still had my LP collection. When you move around a lot like I did when I was a young man it's something you sacrifice in the name of expediency.

    Children need structure. When you're in your 90s you can do as you please. Of course, when you're in your 90s there's not a whole lot you feel like doing beyond the routine. :lol:

    My mom's pacemaker was put in successfully. No incidents. Now she just has to "take to it" before they go after the cancerous tumor.
