Hacking minors whose pictures couldnt share?

Not sure what you mean here. By minor celebs I meant they were being hacked when they were barely famous, not that they were underage. I think in a lot of the cases they were being hacked as soon as they acquired a small amount of fame (say an actress who had a minor role in a film or tv show) and were more vulnerable. Get the pictures then and if that person happens to become more famous or even hit it really big then those pictures will go up in value. That's why there's so many people who are essentially no names on the lists.

 

Not much for posting usually, but just felt the need to point out that minor or major celeb has no bearing on how hard it is to hack them. It all comes down to choosing a strong password and making sure your own computers etc are secure. I have a friend and literally his password for his computer is 12341234 which for any decent hacker with a half decent password breaker it'll take 5 seconds to figure it out.

So if someone is dumb enough to use a bad password it's easy to get hacked, but it doesn't matter how famous (or even if they are famous) in terms of what it takes to hack them.

Now having said that ppl tend to be stupid. They assume something is private when there is no such thing if you do those kind of things. Never take any pictures/videos that you wouldn't be proud to show your own Mother, in this day and age everything is connected to the net and usually stored on a cloud somewhere, so anything you do with your phone/web cam etc is online somewhere and can eventually be found, even if you delete it, it can still be recovered.

But ppl don't learn. You'd think after Vanessa Hudgens got hacked she'd have learned to stop taking pics like that, but she did it anyways. So to complain about getting hacked again (when you already got hacked once) is really dumb. The problem in cases like that is not that you got hacked and had your privacy invaded (although you did) but that you didn't learn your lesson the first time and stop taking pictures that you know could get out and embarrass you again.

I think with a lot of the minor celebs it was there boyfriends who were being hacked though and they had easily accessible public accounts.

Frankly I think that they hack whoever they can, that's why some folks that you think would be on aren't and loads of "celebrities" who you never heard of are. Miley Cyrus may just have a good password. I read when this started that there are around 500 commonly used passwords, starting with "password" itself, then 123456 followed by 1234567. Get a program that enters those, find celebrity "A"s login, often for Apple just their email, and run with it. If Celebrity A's password isn't on the list move to Celebrity "B". And hence the seeming randomness, Vanessa Hudgens has pics but Selena doesn't? Not necessarily, just that Selena might be better at security. Of course some people are just putting all their photos in a name folder, not just the ones they get from their insider trading, that's possibly why the Kate Upton folder had all those photos of other girls. Someone hacked her BF's phone instead and got all the baseball Annies he's been doing. Its just my two cents as an observer from the outside looking in.

Oh, and that Iggy Azaela sextape that her ex bf was reportedly shopping around. I wonder if that's what the leak-list is talking about, or if there's something stuff from her separate from that.
