    I don't agree - dodge & burn are not general area adjustments like brightness, contrast, and saturation adjustments; they are specific area tools like a paint brush and can easily make things look like they are present when they are not, or create details where none exist. So far, I'm seeing mostly creative wishful thinking being shown.

    If you want to quiet the critics, please post your originals along with any of your "work" so they can also try to reproduce what you've presented. Also, keeping the resolutions the same make it easier to flip back and forth to compare images.

    Look, you're not going to fool anyone with that garbage. We've all seen it before, you're hardly the first to paint nipples on to opaque fabrics while pretending their work is legit. Save yourself the trouble and stop.

    I agree with the replies above. Dodge/Burn is the way to fake some nipples or area of the body.
    You are "yourself" puting something on or taking something off and cheating.
    This process is very obvious to see for many here who have been around a while.
    You are "not" adjusting a whole area naturally to show the "actual" nipple etc. You are basically "making" one.
    Anyone who thinks dodge/burn is "enhancing" part of the actual body should be posting in the Fake-Ray thread.

    Yup, viable details there. There is additional material in her dress to provide 'support'; but, with the right angle, pose and lighting it too becomes transparent.

    Here are the steps I used to confirm viability ;)

    1. Crop image tominimize processing.
    2. MULTIPLY image by itself four times.
    3. Shift all values (brightness), normalize contrast and reduce gamma.
    4. Convert to grayscale.
    5. Adjust curves for maximum highlights from Step-4. Save it. Adjust curves for maximum shadows from Step-4. Save it.
    6. Combine edges from save shadows and highlights.
    7. Get sample fleshtones from Step-1 and use grayshades from Step-5.
    8. Get sample fleshtones from Step-1 and use grayshades from Step-6. Layer shadows from Step-7 but keep highlights.
    Other pics from event with EXIF data intact (also viable).

    If this has already been said/tried sorry for repeating it. With regards to the dodge/burn tool, i think a good way to settle it is to find an actress or whoever that has bared topless then find an image that can be xrayed of that women. Then use the dodge/burn and another attempt of not using them and see if the nipples show any resemblance to the bare boobs picture, if that makes sense?
