    Sort of, in THIS CASE, the depth is lost from video capture and/or the .jpg compression mostly, not just the fact that it's B&W. In a HQ B&W scan there should normally be plenty of depth as long as the original image had enough light on the subject and the shadows aren't completely black. I wasn't making a blanket statement that all B&W images can't be done, and this isn't a photograph.

    Then don't. If someone has an interest in doing them they will, no need to keep harping on it.

    here ya go, quick and dirty 30 sec Contrast/brightness adjustment...can clearly see things though...lol
    I am sure the master can do wonders with it.
