    the photoshoot is only part of the show...Emily wasn't voted out on this alone
    elimination is based on the model's overall performance in variety of tests and trials
    eg this week the girls also had to act in a mock tv advert for milk
    the judges also assess their confidence - or lack of - and their potential to be a successful model

    it's a very competitive business! :)

    I'm aware of all that, I watched the first season of the US edition. I'm not really interested in the mechanics of the competition, I was just making an observation about the image itself. ;)

    Lauren!!!

    Lauren Lambert,23, from Wallington, Surrey has won series nine of Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model.
    The 6 foot 2 inch model has also landed a six figure sum modelling contract,
    a deal with two leading beauty brands and gets to go on a New York shopping spree.
    Lambert survived 13 episodes of beauty shoots and fashion challenges on the show, avoiding elimination
    by the host Elle MacPherson and judges Tyson Beckford and Dannii Minogue.
    Minogue said: "Lauren exudes beauty from the inside. Her philosophy of life is so positive,
    and she lets that shine in her photographs.
    She is a deserved winner and it will be great to see her representing Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model globally."
    Lauren triumphed in a final round of modelling for a swimwear shoot for St Tropez in Barbados,
    with the runners-up being Ireland's Sarah Kennedy, 22, and Yorkshire's Emma Ward, 20.
    Mer first fashion shoot appears in the October issue of Company, on sale September 11.
