Well, ill tell you what I wouldnt do, take advice about medicine interactions from these two guys. You might as well ask your couch for its opinion while youre at it.

 

It's more feedback than I got from the doctor at the ER. All he told me is that my foot wasn't broken. He basically answered all my questions by saying "I'm not saying yes and I'm not saying no." :roll:

 

Do drugs.

 

Smoke weed, pop pills, drop out of school, kill people and drink, then jump behind the wheel like it was still legal.

 

Met with a physician today. (Reminded me why I never go to the doctor) They think I might have gout. Gonna have some blood-work done tomorrow.

I'm really hoping that it's not gout. I've got enough problems already.

Guess you will find out soon enough about the gout. Good luck! All you can do is hope for the best. If it is, the docs will help you treat it. I was checking it out and it looks like theres some medications that may help.

 

Diet is also a big factor. If it's not gout, then I will have surgery (info here) to repair the bone. Either way, I'm going to be missing a lot of work. The only good thing is that I recently got on AHCCCS (Arizona's version of medicaid), so none of this is costing any money.

I recall my grandmother getting surgery for a bunion. She got on well afterwards.

 

Yeah. They also shave down the part of the bone that sticks out, which is normally what causes most of the pain. I'd rather have the surgery than have to do all the stuff that's required for gout. I do have to wear wider shoes from now on. I'll post the x-ray if I end up getting it.

 

I thought with gout you just had to watch your diet.

 

That's more of a preventative thing. You still have to treat the symptoms.

What's the latest Fuzz?

 

Just waiting for the results on all the blood labs. Finished the meds I got from the ER (pain is still there). The physician I saw prescribed me Cephalexin, which I started today. Can't really move forward until the results come in though.

 

Yup, lot's of tests these days. I reckon that's better than having the doc whip out a hacksaw and say, "Right, let's do this."
