Well it wasnt a "hot" date but it was some quality time with the woman before she passed out.

Between hers and my work schedule and the kids we dont get much quality time together. I still enjoy it after 10 years. So I reckon you are right

How was vegas and your christmas? Parents doing well?

 

It's nice to have someone special in your life, even if it seems to be routine at times. Never take it for granted. You're a lucky man.

Vegas was Vegas, had fun but it didn't seem to last long enough.

Folks are fine as fettle (whatever that is). I couldn't ask for more.

I try not to take it for granted bro. I never lose sight of the fact that I never believed I could find the right one. The one that can accept me for all my flaws and there are many. I had just about given up on the possibilty when I met the wifey. Now 10 years later I have a family of my own. I have people who care about me and depend on me. My life has purpose.

Well, I can say from experience to not lose hope or become disheartened or disenchanted. If someone who has lived their life as careless and wreckless as I have can find purpose I would venture most anyone is capable

It's a good feeling.

And it's nice you know the rules, lord knows more people should. But as I've told you in the past, it's not your (or anyone else's) place to answer for mods, no matter how good your intentions are. The last thing we need is conflict of ideals between members in Forum Issues. So let the mods answer questions directed at mods.

 

I appreciate that. We all have baggage. Finding someone who not only puts up with it, but also embraces it is all we can hope for.

Eh, you're still a young man, don't worry about it. My life didn't start to have purpose until I was in my 40s.
