I was cutting a watermellon - it was so freaking sweet, I decided to share with my neighbors (mostly to talk to their super cute 20 year daughter back from college. hottness)

Just be careful if you come upon... a mystical monkey paw!

That's why they called me Smooth Move ExLax back in high school... cuz I was so - oh wait a minute.

Ha that would be creepy if you came upon like one of those porcelain dolls that opens their eyes when you prop them upright... except only one eye would open, and if you tried to pry the other eye open, Willem Dafoe would appear out of nowhere to warn you not to mess with the eye. And when you stopped and put the doll away, he would still be there in the shadows watching you like a hungry panther.

yeah, that would creep me out.

Really? I mean, if you knew you neighbors well? Cuz I've known my neighbors for like 5-6 years - they've invited me over for dinner at least once a month, they bake me cookies and such. I mean, if you've got a friendly neighborhood, I think that would be just a common thing, even in Europe, no?

Then again, you Germans have all been rather tricky.

 

Maybe some people here clique with their neighbors; in my building and in most of my friends', it's more of a nodding hello on the stairs and that's it.

 

I remember when I was in NY and people started to chat to each other in the elevators. That freaked me the fuck out.
