Don't'ja just love nice weather? :)

I didn't fall asleep until around 9 this morning. Was nice and mild then so I opened my bedroom window and nodded off. but as the day got warmer so did my room. I bet I sweated off 2 pounds this afternoon because I was too out of it to close the window and open the AC vent.

Needless to say, I'll be sleeping on fresh linens tonight. ;)

Best way to lose weight. Just sweat it off during your sleep. :D

We have this very wet heat in summer, which makes some nights unbearable. There are no ACs in most buildings here.

I sleep with a fan. I grew up without AC at our house so it's no big deal to me and Chicago was plenty humid in the summer. You learn to accommodate. :yup:

I have this old, huge, rattly fan. I rather sweat than turning it on.

Chicago is a beautiful city. It has so much to offer too. I'd love to live there again but I just can't stand the winters. Cold weather has such an adverse affect on me physically. When I was a boy it didn't bother me in the least, but now I have all these creaky joints to deal with, and circulation problems on top of that. Seriously. They keep the casinos and other places so cold here in the summer that after 2 hours I have to get out in the heat or my hands go numb. I actually keep the AC set at 85F in my room during the summer. My roomie likes it cooler than that in the rest of the house so I find myself sitting outside a lot. I love the heat. :D

I've been there a few times - it's a pretty darn cool city. My best memory is when me and this girl shared a full-sized deep dish Giordano's pizza (the beer batter one) to ourselves. We couldn't move for like 40 minutes after eating it.

Chicago, New Orleans and San Francisco are the coolest cities in the US that I've been to. San Diego used to be, but now it looks like a suburb of L.A.

I have yet to make it out to New Orleans... and I really want to as I love food from that region (Cajun and seafood) and really love jazz of course.

Yeah, San Diego is pretty much feels like a suburb of LA now... it used to have this proud military prestige, but not really anymore. Still, a fun city to check out.

Seattle is another great city - it's freaking amazing when it's sunny. But that's not often enough tho as it rains like 75% of the year there. ;)

All 3 (4) of them have the same things in common: An awesome waterfront, great culture (food, music, etc), and a unique sense of self you won't find anywhere else in America. I guess the same could be said for NYC, Boston and Philly, but I've never been to the Atlantic seaboard so I've yet to experience them.

See... you say that, but really, if you make it out here, I'll willing to bet you'll be too shy to meet me.

Only regret... I never made to Wrigley Field... I KNOW, I KNOW! Me being a big baseball fan, you would've thought otherwise... I even made it to Soldier Field, but not Wrigley.
