That sounds to be nice :32: The only problem I have is that whist I love spicy food..it doesn't love me back

 

Unfortunately we are switching to Digital TV so I would have to buy two set top boxes to record two channels/ watch one channel and record a second

I have an old school antenna and receive about 12 channels with it.

 

Well the second set top box is the cheap option...otherwise to buy a DVR(Digital Vidio Recorder) I'm looking at $300+ and given that I still have two perfectly good hi-fi VCR recorders and a DVD recorder I can't jstify the extra cost :2cent:

My DVR I rent from my cable company for $6/month...if it breaks, I get a new one for nothing

 

I have the same over here with UHF but the signal is that crappy even though i'm on top of a hill and digital (free to air) gives us an extra 10 channels)..not that I watch that much TV anyway :2cent:

The cable company we have to choose from has basic packages starting from $50 a month but to get the ones with movies you add $10 a group (theres 3 groups) so to get the high end package you dont get much change from $100 but they do include a DVR/satelite converter

Oh and after you have had it for about 6 moths you have seen about 90% of all sows before it becomes reruns

 

But still nothing good on TV

Here, the basic cable package starts at $20 and for that you get about 80 channels or so...plus a bunch of music stations too
