  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I spent 5 mins looking through the last few SOTW's in the archive. I forgot some of the different sigs enetered. There is some genuinly great work, and is interesting to see how people interpert themes so differently from eachother. Its definatly worth having a look through once in a while.

    just a quick idea i had a while ago but never got round to posting. how about a little symbol to put on to winning sigs to show they won the week so the artist can put it in their sig or into their rotation, but that specifically shows which sig it was they won with. i've just thrown this rough cut together in literally 2 minutes, and it could do with being polished. kept it simple though so the colour can easily be changed to suit each idividual sig. here's my idea and how it looks on mine

    ok, 3 people is enough to convince me! i've just redone the image and replaced it in my original post for anyone to save, the colour can be changed easily using the Hue setting.
