    After many years of basically not giving a shit, I finally have to ask the question,
    WTF is Emo and why would it be chosen as a theme?
    So......
    Ok, off to wiki. On "Emo" which I always rather assumed was a shortened term "emotional" as in whiny, bitchy, depressed, always put upon, never valued (read understood) 15 year olds who didnt have the guts to be punk(or, today it's goth I suppose). I see it's based on depression/angst, although apparently this is denied on the "sensitivity" argument. Seems to me the 90's generation went for apathy/depression, whereas the 80's definitely went with anger, the 70's with escapism, and the 60's with reform. Emo is an entire generational subculture that appears to be based on young teens arriving at the eye-opening maturity stage to find out they're totally fucked and have no more future than any fucking body else, in direct contrast with the Disney channel lessons they have been spoon fed since infancy. And so, being from the 80s portion who really WANTED to take off, and nuke the site from orbit, I have had a bit of a time picking out an "Emo Girl" to use as a subject. After reading the always amazing wiki on whatever I've finally found a girl that I think, fits perfectly.

    Well equal to be, I just searched "emo girl" on avaxhome, downloaded stocks and scratched something out. And that's after when I heard there aren't many entries and decided to do some stuffing. BTW my choice for next week is Freestyle so....

    apologies for the delay guys! i completely forgot about it cos my computers fucked, i'm in the middle of a reformat and something must be broken hardware-wise cos everytime i try to reinstall windows it shuts itself down! doin this on a mates computer, but the polls up for 2 days now anyway, kind of messes with the schedule but we'll manage!

    ok guys, because the schedule is all fucked up and we've got a theme that everyone can enjoy, i'm extending the submission date to thursday NEXT WEEK! this gives you over a week to come up with your best freestyle sig, i'm hoping for lots of entries and some top quality sigs (as always).

    no excuses with all this extra time... although i'm fairly sure Sid will get mixed up, and GBTG will still forget ;)
