Sig Duel Tournament #3 - Names, Rules and Discussion

Question:
Where do we send the sig?

 

the 2 people involved in the duel organise between themselves which one is gonna post the poll and the other sends their sig to them. if anyone has significant doubts about sending their sig to their opponent the 2 could agree on a 3rd party who could post the poll if willing. that's not been a problem in the past though, remember it's all for fun.

 

I hope that i get an opponent who can make a pole, i never did make a pole and wouldn't know how to make one.

I always volunteer to make the polls in my battles, just so that it keeps it consistent as possible.

The theme is fixed stock. You and your partner will have to decide on which stock to use yourselves. Post the stock picture at the bottom of your thread.

I know. I didn't like it much myself, but it's what was pulled first.

I pm'd Spider, I'm letting him choose the stock/render.

 

Just give everyone the same pic. That way we dont waste time haggling over what pic to use. Given our time difference, Lukin and I can play tag for a week before we get a pic chosen. I love the fixed source idea, it shows skill instead of talent/luck of the material choice. Given a global contest, leaving it up to each duel is going to have horrible time consequences.

I see what you're saying about having just one source pic/render. But how do we decide on what to use? Does anyone want to suggest one and I a few of us agree it's good then I'll put it in post #2? Or is everyone happy with it being between partners?

I don't think it should be a problem deciding between partners as long as people are productive about it, I've already sent a PM with 4 ideas to Helium and I told him if he likes one let me know, if not send me some ideas of his own and we can decide.

The image doesn't really even matter to me, it's all for fun after all.

Hmm, I dont know if it would work this round, but have people submit the source pic with their theme. Just set out a dimension limit for those source pics and whichever is the theme chosen, use that pic. If it's a multi-submitted theme, there are just more sources to work with on that given theme.

"Fixed Stock" is so generic it could be anything!! It's the most nebulous theme of all time. Although, it also has the unlimited potential to be the best ever

It totally decimates the cohesion of the group duel concept. 1 duel could be treefrogs and another Nicole Kidmans ass in "eyes wide shut" and another a space launch. How do you decide?
