  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    no premium member, but didn´t notice any downs lately.
    (and i still get the usual 500 points a day on my collectors account, so... seems like downloading in general hasn´t been affected either)

    I've read that some ISP's are blocking access to Rapidshare. Whether this is true or not I don't know?

    Can you see something (displayed errors??) with the "network/system scan"?

    Open [Start] - [Control Panel] - [Network and internet Connections], you see on the left the group "Troubleshooters", click there on [Network Diagnotics]. A new window wil open, look what options are filled, may add more tests if you want. Then click on [scan your system]. (This will also use a connection to the internet). After the test, the result are displayed.

    Try also with emptying internet cache, scan for spyware,etc
    Maybe this also (Its just a tought): If you have a downloadspeedmanager (leechget, flashget), uninstall it and try to connect to rapidshare.

    This nice site have speedtests (online and software for download), network software, etc

    The onlinetest below will show you the route to the site you enter in the field. In a table you see wich traces it has done to get to the site you typed. Maybe not a help (its dificult also ;)) and maybe not the kind test if the problem is in your computer.

    typ on the left from "start" the address you wish, example www.rapidshare.com, then click "start" to start the test..
    You can make the column bigger with holding mouse there, left click and slide...
    Change from the buttons (blue letters are buttons) "summary", "table", ... to see more ;)

    Maybe you turned active x and java off, or the ip were not the ip from your computer after the upload?

    Sometimes you need to goto options while in premium zone and tick direct downloads and then click save to get RS to work.
