Plus Sized Amy Schumer not happy being in Plus Sized magazine article

I agree that plus sized is a garbage term. It's just for people trying to be nice. Hypothetically, its based on dress size and not weight though. I found this quote interesting "In the fashion industry, "plus size" is a term for models who are size 8 and up. But in the real world, most people would never think of a size 8 as plus size — most plus-size clothing doesn't even start until a size 16." So if you got someone who is really skinny, like Calista Flockheart who wears a size 2 and all the sudden she balloons up to a size 15, she may not be considered plus size according to the second half of that definition. Everyone who sees her at that weight, however, would think she is fat as hell because she has a tiny frame. Amy says she is a size 8 oftentimes, so according to the plus size term for models, she is technically plus sized according to that definition. Not only that but Amy has a small frame (bone structure) and her extra weight really shows.

 

Referring to models and celebrities as sluts, whores, bitches, slags, etc., is considered unwarranted and unacceptable vilification. Some of the girls do actually look around sites like ours! There's no call for it, it's ignorant and devalues the forum. Phun is not a free fire zone where anything goes. The owner, staff and vast majority of members take pride in being associated with phun.org because we have proven integrity. Crude and crass comments posted for the sake of shock value have no place here (Re: Trolling). So avoid using terms that might be considered disparaging, hurtful or slanderous/libellous in any sense, whether you're referring to models, celebrities or fellow members. In particular, derogatory racial, sexist, religious or nationalistic slang terms and phrases are likely to cause offence, even if used out of ignorance rather than malice, and are consequently prohibited.

Hey. Don't talk about Amy like that. She's completely unattainable to us common folk (/Blatant sarcasm) But seriously though, whenever a woman says stuff like that, she's trying to act like a man. And they do it to mask the fact that they don't have the skill to get love from a guy they revere. So they'll brag about how many randoms they can have sex with, as if its hard for a woman to give it away. ;-)

Newsflash to you... Guys don't need to be able to 'get' any of the women on here to have preferences or opinions about which types of women, celebrities or otherwise, they find attractive. Maybe you're a 'fatass' as well and that's fine, you're still entitled to have your own preferences and tastes.

Literally every term that has ever existed in any language throughout human civilisation has been a 'fucking made up term' and many of them have less meaning or validity than the one you're upset by. What's your point?

 

What does preference have to do with the subject at hand, though?

I am not attracted to fucking Amy Schumer. That's fine, but the subject isn't about whether or not she's attractive....
