Have a think about the number of mainstream sapphic films that have been produced in recent years, not for the male gaze like porn (although I know we've all appreciated them) but to start telling more open stories of female on female love, and how acceptable it's become, in most parts of society.

The best example I can think of off hand is Kate Mara and Ellen (Elliot) Page in MDOM, where their sex scenes were pretty breathtaking, and then it was later confirmed by Ellen (and then Kate) that she'd been in an open physical relationship with both her male partner and Kate at the same time.

I could carry on this weird conversation forever, but getting back to the original vomments about Olivia not doing public PDAs, have a read about some of the shit storm that came from her last major public PDA (with a man/men!)
