  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Ok, I uploaded the files & it gave me a d/l link. Do I d/l that again or what? I know I'm asking a lot here & seem stupid, I just want to give back. Can you help with more details? Thanks.

    You want to copy the download link, and post that on here - it means that members can then download the vid from that site.

    It's also nice if you can show us what's in the vid, so you need to take some screencaps. The easiest way to do this is download a program called Media Player Classic - google it. It's free, and will play pretty much any vid you throw at it. In the 'File' menu, there's an option to 'Save Image As...' - pause the vid a few times at suitably dramatic moments, and save the image. Then upload these to www.imagevenue.com - it'll generate automatic code for you to copy and paste into here, which will display your screencaps as clickable thumbnails in your post.

    Got all that? Oh, tell us the format of the vid, how long it is, and how big it is. Cheers duck :)
