If you are so keen in Finance courses i have a degree in finance and accounting. What the president projects and policies he instill does have a direct impact on the economy. Why else did Halliburton stock's jump the day after Bush declared war on Iraq? He directly had an input on a whole sector of like business based on his decisions.

No that is not true either. When we had our economic boom in the late 90's almost all of Europe and Japan were in a recession. So if they had bad economic output why didn't we? It has to do with our economic policies. Hence our average recession in the US only last 9 months compared to Europe's 18 months.

All politicians are crooked. But in Bush's case he seem to be able to adapt very well to increase the wealth of all his supporters.

When you have a father who helped you avoid the draft, went on political campaigns to avoid actually going to war, have a father who got him into Yale with a mediocre GPA yes i can see how he might be able to obtain a masters degree.

Not everybody who is against the Iraq war is a tree hugger. Just somebody who knows that there is no evidence to support that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11 nor trying to obtain WMD like purported as grounds for invasion. You must be very naive to think that with the growing resentment in the Arab world with our invasion that it will cause more attacks like 9/11. The hijackers of 9/11 were a mix of Arab nationals. You really should look into why they hate us first before making your idiotic assumptions that this war will cure us of future attacks. And i would love to see your evidence as to what Iraq did that justified this invasion.

You 100% sure they are all terrorists? In reports that is now being expressed by all media outlets 13,000 of the 14,000 detainees during this war was held in jail, tortured, and released several months later without any proof of evidence. If they are terrorist charge them for their crimes and if convicted put them in jail. Why the secrecy?

The sheer fact that the majority of the industrialize nation condemned us for invading Iraq and are angered by our foreign policy is proof that we are failing in diplomacy.

Lying about having extramarital sex is one thing, Lying to the american public about why we invaded Iraq is another. It hurt our country monitarily to the tune of over 450billion dollars and counting. Your children and grand children will be working to pay off this debt.

Drop a bomb, it is millions wasted. Spend that same amount on educating our children or improving our infrastructure will last many generations and add value to our economy/country.

I used sheep in my response. If you had read my post, you would have noticed that I am neither Dem or Rep. Since when are Democrats the only people for gun control? Put the crack pipe down and realize that most
people who DO want gun control are not fanatics. A lot of police
departments want certain guns/bullets banned because their own
weapons and manpower pale in comparison to many of these criminals.

Have you seen the types of weapons that are available on the streets that can fire a round that can pass through two vehicles and kill an officer?

So, what the hell does your post have to do with Bush being an idiot? And
what the hell does it have to do with being led to the slaughter if someone
wants some gun control?

And please don't try to educate me on firearms and or ammunition, it is something that I am very passoniate about and very involved in. I am in fact in Law Enforcement myself and I am well aware that some PD's are for gun control, it is idiotic. Do you understand that gun control is only taking away the rights of the law abiding citizen?

I suggest you read up on the 2nd amendment and how and why it was added to the Constitution if you don't know what it has to do with calling someone sheep and being led to a slaughter.

ETA-I consider myself a Libertrian more than anything and certainly don't agree with everything the Rep. want, but I find myself agreeing with a lot less the Dems. want.

A true democratic government can only get as powerful as the people behind them vote for it. In this case the American public is so dumb they voted for a power hungry president who corrodes away at our freedoms all in the name of false security.
