well, honestly, I usually take my fries plain with very little salt... tastes the best in my opinion.

I just go all out if I add random stuff to it.

 

I like old bay on my french fries. And as for regular french fries I like to dip them in honey mustard; sometimes ketchup; or nothing if they're good!. With sweet potato fries I never use anything.. sometimes I sprinkle a little brown sugar on them.

 

How about ranch dressing?

If you're cool with ranch, it's not far of a jump from ranch to mayo.

I do sometimes like McDonalds hot mustard with my fries.

That reminds me... fries from Wing Stop are legit because they put salt and sugar on their fries.

Man... it's goood. I discovered the combo when my ex back in college would order curly fries from Jack In the Box and containers of their buttermilk ranch sauce (it's used for their salads). I was skeptical as well, but DAMN... 'twas good.

Yea, especially in the summer. In the winter I leave the windows open though.

I've never had sugar on regular fries. But the mix of brown sugar and salt on sweet potato fries is amazing!

 

ah, at least you've tried it before. no sense in trying to convince you to like them.

I don't know how Wing Stop does it but it's a perfect combination of sweet and salty on their "natural cut" style fries

Since you're in SD, if you ever venture into LA (especially around Westwood), do yourself a service and go to Johnnie's Pastrami in Culver City. Of course, their pastrami sandwiches are the best on the west, but they have this dipping sauce for their fries - it's a sweet ketchup with a glob of hot Russian mustard in the middle. It is the most divine fry dipping sauce ever conceived... I've tried to mimic the combination but something about their ketchup matches perfectly with the hot Russian mustard.

Dammit... all this food talk has gotten me hungry again.
