Do you or have you ever smoked PM? I'm trying to give up for a second time at the moment and struggling quite a lot.

 

You would have been stranded there all alone.

 

I smoke. I do chew nicotine gum mixed with regular gum at work -- that helps a little at work.

 

The first time I gave up I used one of those inhalers which worked but tasted like shit. Now I'm just slowly cutting down and aiming to get to a point where it's one in the morning, and one in the evening. It's bloody tough though.

 

That method works for people. Keep it up!

 

It's harsh though because a large majority of my friends smoke. That's how I started up again. One of them left some tobacco at my place and I couldn't resist.

 

How long are you into the quitting period, afx?

 

Only a couple of months. I smoke rolling baccy and I've managed to cut my consumption from 12-15 a day to about 5. It's going ok but I'm struggling to get it any lower.

 

The fact that you quit once makes it predictable that you'll be able to do it again, too.

 

You're right, it really is just those first few weeks of completely stopping that are the toughest.

 

I have "3:10 to Yuma" on in the bg. Have you seen it?

 

Presuming you mean the newer one, I've had it on DVD for a while but haven't got round to seeing it yet. It's supposed to be good. Great cast.
