Hi Thore. You got a hooker in your room with you?

 

It is totallly overcast and very cool here with 20 mph wind......mid 40's F. Learned yesterday there is no need to get an early start as nothing begins to happen until noon. The crowd is way down, I estimate only 100k bikes. That may seen like a lot, but 400 to 600K is average and the festivities are spread out over 100 square miles. Lots of northern and some western USA represented here, and many Canadians.

Chicks are remaining covered. Yesterday saw a gorgous lady with a very sheer top, but kept her jacket on. :sad: Only the bar keeps are even showing cleavage....hope that changes on Thursday at an event that in the past has always had visual entertainment.

I've never had a hooker in my life, actually. Am I in the minority?

 

Just chillin in my room here, no one is on the beach (not normal). Will be showering shortly and getting dressed. Will ride to the speedway where there should ge lots of action, relatively speaking. Still have not found a satisfactory black leather hat that is called "crushable" which means I can fold it into my saddlebags, and it will return to form when removed. Had one but left it in the stands in Bristol Speedway last August :sad:. I really liked that hat!

 

Me either, although sometimes I think marriage is just another form of prostitution. Just more expensive than the normal procurement process.

 

It is suppose to get down to freezing the next three mornings. :sad: Looks like a cold return home on Saturday......

I think I will moussy down to the Daytona Speedway in a few hours. That is a major hub of activity with vendors and motorcycle races. Today, they should be practicing - we are talking 200 mph bikes! They run partially on the oval track with significant "road course" in the infield. I like to sit by the "international hairpin - usually lots of action there.....should be there for several hours unless it is dead also. The high winds may curtail practice runs.

My buddy left at 6 this morning and plans to be back either this evening or tomorrow evening. He is a consulting engineer and inspite of being on vacation, he had to go back to tend to client needs. sucks! He has to be in three different cities here in Florida Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week. :sad: So I am by myself and taking it easy and just chillin.....
