We generally have hot, humid weather here, with a reasonable chance of afternoon thunderstorms from July through October.....the only major bad weather threat we have is associated with tropical storms should they decide to visit us.....really have had none of them since the 2004 hurricane season.....hope you do indeed have good weather tomorrow!

 

youngest are 7, and she want to ride on my shoulders all the time, fucking hard I must say.. but she's such a sweetie so it's still mighty fun.. I suppose in a 3 or 4 years time she will get other interests so might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

 

Kids do grow it quickly.....while both my sons could body slam me now, I still remember them curled up on my lap watching cartoons on the TV....about 25 years ago! :shock:

 

getting autumn here now, leaves are turning yellow, and are starting to fall off the trees, no more thunder around these parts for a while now. wouldn't mind it too much if it weren't for the fucking cold and the snow

 

yeah time flies.. I have figured one thing out about time, future time always move very very slow, present time doesn't move at all, and past time is spinning at 5000rpm...

 

I just turned on the Tigers baseball game. Gotta watch my 1st place team.

 

It can get well below freezing here in the winter, but it is only for a short time.....have celebrated both Thanksgiving and Christmas in shorts and tee shirts many times.....and only have very light snow flurries here about once every ten years with no accumulation on the ground. We had a major ice storm here Christmas of 1989.....think it was the first one ever recorded. My Dad was born in 1916, lived here all his life and he said he never saw such an event before....

Our bad weather, other than hurricanes, usually comes in the spring and is associated with cold fronts meeting warm, moist Gulf air.....generates violent thunderstorms and sometimes tornadoes.

1.5 meters of snow everywhere, and not above freezing between november and march, temp could go down to -40C (-40F) and stay like that for a couple of weeks in January.

not that I like thunderstorms and tornadoes any better.
