Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I had a fucking busy day at work!

    we have a 600 volt transformer that blew behind our Airport Garage. it feeds power from the town to our Field Electrical Centre Building that powers all of our Airport and most importantly Runway Lights!

    it's taken Nunavut Power Corporation 2 weeks to get a new one in as they don't have one here. meanwhile our Airport is running on our Backup Generator that is running our Airport. around 1:20pm I was in my Airport Office, we lost everything, all our lights, and my Airport Radio Guy who talks to Airplanes lost his Radios! I was freaking as we had 3 planes 15 minutes out landing at our Airport and the weather was shitty in blowing snow!

    I ran over the FEC calling the Electrician and the Airport Contractor telling them to get the fuck up to the Airport now as it was an Emergency. we were trying to figure out why it shut off! finally we figured out the cold air vent going into it was plugged with now so no cold air could get into the building. we cleared it up, cooled off the Generator then turned it back on, before any Planes diverted to other Airports we were able to get power back to the Airport and they all landed.

    fucking busy day.
