Instagram and Twitter Clutter in the Celeb section

Some of the best (and outrageous) conversations on phun have been held in the Celeb Forum. I would hate to see that change. Those conversations could be held in dedicated megathreads, but as I said before, it would just make the threads unweildly, especially for pic hunters. There are other forums that have that format, a few of which I think are pretty good forums overall, but then they are also less "chatty" than phun is. It's a different atmosphere here than most forums, and that's the way I like - my preferences for megathreads aside.

Imo the forum should stay as is, but rubbish, single, low quality self upped pics of the half a dozen women that up them, could have their own thread for said pics.

99.9 percent of celebs don't up their own pics and those that do agree generally just turned 16.

Furthermore - am I mistaken in thinking the oops thread is most popular / visited thread in that area? A thread that has no search function to talk of and is basically just reposts?

Twitter pic posters would have a far better audience with single threads - that is why I can't understand the resistance - fans of the girls in question will constantly check that thread!!! It is in your interest!!

It's just some people here like the younger ones who post a lot of pics of themselves and the members here post all their pics.

I hate that thread.

If they are fans of the women they will click the threads how they are now.

Don't you guys think it would be better time well spent for the staff to get the forum's performance problems in order before discussing whether or not something as pedestrian as adding a new sub-forum to the celeb section is needed? And for twitpics of all things? FFS, how ludicrous.

I've been to to other boards where a single thread is maintained for each celeb and they are generally very bland. People use them as banks for image and there is zero conversation (apart from people saying thanks over and over). A separate thread for each twitter/insta would be the same. If it got to thirty pages long someone would have to flick through thirty pages to make sure it wasn't a repost.

As for separation. Superior pics forum has it separated to such a degree that you have to visit a category for "celebs from A to G, Celebs from H to O" and so on. Which means that just to browse the same type of content you have to go in three or four different forums. Now that's clutter. Our way is tidier and neater. Once separation begins you can have people asking for everything to be split in every forum.

As i said before, I don't think this is a "clutter" issue at all, just some people that hate the social medium of twitter and instagram prsonally and don't want it on phun. Nothing to do with space at all.

 

Sometimes I think it's better for forum etiquette if members could just hit the "Thanks" button. :2cent:

 

And the oops thread is only popular because people want to see bits of girls they shouldn't. It's got zero to do with the format.
