Thats a good idea, but when the average JLH (and many others) thread goes to many pages it's a real pain when you have to go through page after page hoping for new pics only to find its just the usual people telling us how much they dislike her but felt it was good of them to click on a thread and tell us how much they dislike them.

Im all for comments on what a celebs wearing, hair or makeup but if you plain dislike a celebrity why contribute to a thread about them

 

We like and dislike celebs depending on their particular circumstance, clothing, behavior etc. We comment based on our opinions. They are then moderated if necessary.

As I have said before, if it was all just 'nice pics' and 'great post' without discussion both ways, it would be a very boring Forum real quick.

(that certainly doesn't mean 'fat bitch' or 'slut face' type comments)

If you don't like any criticisms/discussion etc, scroll through till you get to the pics/adds you want to see. You don't have to read every post if you just want the pics .. jeez.

That does not surprise me, cayne does contrary shit like that all the time.

However, since he owns the website he can say and do whatever the fuck he likes. Since you don't own the website you cannot. Don't confuse the owner's actions with a permissive stance on his part where the rules are concerned. We're not here to moderate cayne. The same rules still apply to all of the members, and that includes you. Sorry to piss on your brief moment of triumph.

 

I don't mind long discussions if they remain relevant to the OP, but as is usually the case those lengthy threads just wind up rehashing old themes that everyone gets tired of seeing. Celebrity Photos is primarily an image forum (its name even implies as much). I've said on numerous occasions that if someone wants to start a discussion thread about a particular celeb that they should start one in CX. They can link to current updates in the thread and we'd even be a little more lenient in the way we moderate such threads, but no one ever listens to that idea. They just can't be bothered, and so we end up with thread after thread after thread in Celeb Photos full of the same ridiculous and tiresome rancor about Kardashians, or Miley Cyrus, or Taylor Swift, or whoever. Fuck that noise.

 

Then just have pics and a 'Thanks' button in CP, and see how that goes

I go on sports forum for my local team, we can have a happy debate about tactics and what players we think should start, we don't all agree but it's a healthy discussion. What they don't allow if fans from rival clubs flooding the forum with "you're crap" type comments which is what a lot of the so called "discussion" on here is basically. I would almost call some of it trolling.

 

There's no Admin setting for that as far as I know. Either the forum is No Posting (like Bits & Pieces) or it isn't, which is the status quo. And again, not trying to discourage reasonable discussion. Even provocative discussion. I'd just like for people to weed out the trolling and ignorance before we're forced to do it for them. I don't feel bad when I ban people, but that doesn't mean I like to do it. And by and large it's not effective moderating because banning someone doesn't seem to have any residual affects among the larger community. Maybe it's because we don't publicize the reasons why members get banned, but I suspect if we did, that would just open up a whole other can of worms.

 

I would agree to this if people do like Scribe advocates and make a thread in CX for discussion then post a link to it in the CP forum because people should be allowed to talk. Won't happen, though.

 

I'm sorry you think me pointing out cayne in your thread, on your exact topic of convo, is a brief moment of triumph for me and whether or not you can still piss on a regular basis, is of any interest whatsoever to me or any phun members.

Au contraire, you decided to address it personally in a thread you started, and it refers to the creator of this site, it is a huge moment of triumph, as if I ever cared about a moment of triumph on a website full of people I will never meet IRL.

I can assure you, I do not.

It simply shows everybody has their own opinion about everything, including the creator of this site, and whatever behavior he has or has not engaged in about this celebrity or that, and whether you do or do not defend him. I'm sure this entire thread holds less relevance to him than a grain of sand on a beach.

Even you, an above excellent degree of an aged online debater and enforcer, cannot argue with this.

Thats why our positions exist and why that post of his that you brought to this thread means exactly nothing.
