  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    New threads in the Celebrity Forum are currently being dominated by two members. On the first page I counted 34 of 45 threads started by these two. On the second page it was 31 of 45. Scanning through pages 3 through 10 shows a similar percentage.

    Is this welcomed and encouraged by the moderators? Speaking for myself, I'm rarely interested in what they're posting. I'm much more interested in viewing video clips and gifs.

    I haven't posted any celebrity gifs in a while, primarily because I'm short on material, but I'm reluctant to post any more in the future if they're just going to be pushed back several pages in a very short amount of time.

    A few months back, there was some discussion about having a separate forum for celebrity vids and gifs. Can this be made into a reality please?

    these are playboy pics....but Cayne has this thread linked to the phun.org page, so not sure what you want to do with it. Guess he didn't realize they were playboy pics.

    To be honest, we can't discourage people from posting threads. What they're doing is within the rules, as long as they aren't reposting, which is something they've been alerted to and hopefully won't happen so often.

    Their threads mighn't be everyone's cup of tea, but there are those who like them, and reply. Same with video and GIF threads. As long as people are replying with a word of thanks, threads won't disapear without too much notice. We can't impose a limit on the amount of threads that people start.

    We do welcome everyone's contributions, and there will still be a place for GIFs and Vids in the Celeb Forum. We consider the amount of forums we have at the moment to be sufficient enough.

    Like others frantic, I do like the threads you've made and hope you decide to continue. There are those who post in the celeb forum who like yourself, prefer vids and GIFs to pics and comment primarily in such threads. So any such threads will still get positive feedback.

    Fair enough. I voiced a concern and I think it was handled well. Was it Abraham Lincoln that said "You can't please all of the people all of the time"? ;) Anyway, no biggie. I'll work around it. Thanks for the reply. Apologies if this was in the wrong thread.
