  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Why? One's pics and one's got the vid, isn't it better that they're posted seperately? You seemed to post them in the wrong place, the vid was in the pic forum and the pics were in the vid forum, I've switched them round.

    According to ms technet, a 504 error is almost always a misconfigured server not responding before network timeout. I looked up the error when it first started acting up a couple weeks ago. I doubt that our admins configure the ARP and dns tables at the hosting company, but I certainly dont know jack about the phun hosting setup, just a guess.

    Well, they're (hosting co.) obviously doing something today. I've been dropped on refreshes and new page loads about 6 times since my earlier report. Let's hope they get it squared before quitting time today or we're hosed till Monday. At least when it's working things seem to be faster than normal. :tup2: I'm getting quick loads on new pages the last 1/2 hour or so.
