INFO FORUM ISSUES (Cont'd)

Not starting "The Birthday ..." again ... yet, if you were wondering !
Was all about the quest to find a faster Phun.

 

there is a difference between large, long, old, ACTIVE threads and new, not-yet large, not-yet long ACTIVE threads.the start of a new chat-thread did help a bit.

think of a long thread (garn/faden!) you have to spool on a spindle. the longer the thread becomes the more difficult it is to have a clean roll. knots and loops start to pile up. sometimes the spindle is just full and you need to start a new one...
in phun-regards: it becomes more and more difficult "serverwise" to handle a long thread.

ps.: for me a few reposts of music-vids don`t hurt that much.

 

pps: the quest still continues... sadly.

we have a few compatibility-issues (the actual "thanks"-addon is not fully compatible with the current v-bulletin-version, for example - therefore the page-reloads after klicking the "thanks"-button. apparently there is an update available, but who knows if it will fit and not start from zero again? and somebody has to install it...).
we still need to figure ways to enable certain vbulletin-features (uploads of picss into albums, for example)
we still need to figure ways to push the hoser
therre are few issues that don`t naturally have to do with vbulletin/phun - this "want to leave the page"-popup does occur on non-vbulletin-sites as well (i`d love to hear people using different operating-systems as microsoft if they do have that issue)

the hoster messed a lot of things, vbulletin 4.x has quite a few bugs, none of the current staff-members has a degreee in php-progamming... and in the end people involved have a real-life job, need to eat and drink and sleep - other granted private activities aside.

so... any vbulletin/php-coder around? report to Cayne asap.

believe me - possible or no - we are at least as much annyoed (pissed) by the situation as you all are.

IMO the guy who he is responding to is more on my radar. Puking and mad smilies at the the thought of her being in an interracial relationship is something that bugs me. I'll keep an eye on them both.
