Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Can someone please tell me the definition of a "celebrity" here for the Celebrity forum?

    (I personally don't think generic page-3 girls or titty-mag girls are "celebs") Don't they fit more in the model forum or something?

    The page-3 girls are a celeb in the UK, there are also enough Dutch celebs that you never may heard of but they also can be posted in Celebrity Forum. So it doesn't mean she has to be a celeb in America to enter the Celeb Forum

    Well to me they are more or less strippers but i think it has a proper term for it that is glamour models. Which mean that they have a status just above strippers after all most of the page 3 girls can be seen in the sun a rather big english newspaper i believe. Where we should put them can be debated as with everything. Not sure if this helped you in any way Smoopy.

    Fashion models have been topless as well and they go in the celeb forum, this question has been asked before and a mod (don't know who it was anymore) told they go in celeb

    If they are indeed "glamor models", they should be in the "model" thread IMO.

    I welcome any nation/culture girls if they are "celebrities".

    They might be well-known in a tabloid or mag anywhere in the world, but unless they are an actor/singer/performer, they don't count to me as a "celeb"

    and they clutter the "Celeb" thread up with what should be Celebrities, not page 3 girls. These girls should be in another thread.

    Let's not get into trying to define what qualifies someone as a celebrity!

    Most dictionaries define a celebrity simply as "a famous person". They are usually but not exclusively associated with entertainment or showbiz.
    There is a hierarchy, headed by those in the so-called "A-list", below which are various degrees/types of celebrity, be they national, regional, local, etc., so one man's celebrity may well be another man's "Who the hell is he/she?".
    That's simply the way things are!

    With all due respect, because it falls on deaf ears and nothing is done about it in discussion threads....only the discussion part lol.

    Look at the "Oops Discussion Thread"....nothing came of it....and some very good and logical points were made.

    I just thought I would give some logic a go here, but seems a leopard never changes it's spots.

    Will just leave the Celeb thread to cascade into more of a shambles, until a Mod brings the topic up and something is done about it.
