Jarret Stoll is skating on bringing pockets full of drugs into a Vegas pool party.

The NHL center, known better in some circles as Erin Andrews’ boyfriend, avoided jail time Thursday when he pleaded a felony cocaine possession charge down to two misdemeanors.

Stoll was busted April 17 when he submitted to a routine pat-down and a hotel security guard discovered cocaine and Molly in his shorts pockets. He faced four years in prison if convicted of the felony.

Instead, the 33-year-old copped to two misdemeanors — trespassing and breach of peace — and must perform 32 hours of community service over the next 120 days. He is set to work with the Salvation Army and organize a hockey camp for at-risk youth.

“Now that the case has been resolved I am committed to meeting all of my obligations to the court. am grateful for the chance to offer guidance and share positive life lessons to kids as part of the resolution of this matter,” Stoll said in a statement issued through his lawyer, David Chesnoff, via TMZ. “My focus remains on hockey and I am looking forward to getting back on the ice next season.”

Stoll is set to become a free agent on July 1, and may have a hard time finding employment coming off a career-worst six-goal season for the Los Angeles Kings and this embarrassing drug bust.

She didn't expose anything you moron. She was in her hotel room, where she thought and expected some level of privacy. Nobody expects to filmed by some stalker peeping tom, nor do they expect the hotel they're staying in to be an enabler of that pervert. She didn't take any steps up because of this video. College football is huge all across the country and she was already the #1 female sports reporter in the business. He going from college to NFL didn't happen because of this video. It happened because that's what she wanted to do. I imagine she can work wherever she wants. She has earned that and it's not because of some silly stalker video. This video didn't do diddly squat for her, except humiliate and frighten her.

 

I remember Erin when she worked for TBS covering the Braves. Then she moved to ESPN. I used to bring up her name when talking with friends, who were sports fans, and they did not know who she was. College football, nor Atlanta sports were not their thing. Fast forward to the time this video hit. She was now all over the news, both sports and mainstream. Those same people then knew who she was. I already know that reading comprehension is lost on you (obviously, you can't comprehend my post you quoted), but how about your ability to put two and two together? I know for a fact that in my little circle, the video gave her name a boost. Now, do you think that only where I live she got more famous?

As far as your view on college football goes? It is huge in this country. But it is still a niche sport. There are tons of football fans who refuse to watch college sports as it is not the best of the best playing each week against each other. Oh, and one more thing? She didn't go to FOX because she simply wanted to. You can't just walk into a spot like that because you "want it". They hired her for two reasons. One is she is hot. Two is she has a name. It certainly was not because she knows football. Remember, she does not call the games. She simply interviews players and passes along tidbits of information during the course of a game. She is there to be looked at.

Now, if you, or anybody else, want to present some facts that this video did not help her celebrity, that would be great. However, you can't. All you would have are "what ifs" and such. All you would have is just a guess that she would have moved on to bigger and better things on network television if the video did not exist. I have presented a fact that she did boost her fame after said video. I saw it first hand.

 

Correlation does not prove causality. Her becoming more famous after the video doesn't mean the video was responsible or that it helped.

 

And your fame would rise in the dolphin scenario. Probably get a nice settlement too. Sounds like a win-win, I mean we could all be so lucky to be raped by a dolphin, am i right?

 

Obviously it does in this case. Person doesn't know her before knows her after thanks to the headlines and stories on the news. Thus, she became more famous because of the video. Even my mother, who does not watch sports at all, knew who she was after the video.

Is today April Fools and I was in a coma for a while? How is this now three people in one day that have no basic concept of reality or obviousness?

 

By this application of reality and obviousness, all artists and musicians should be fine with being murdered by a psycho fan, because whenever that happens, it boosts their fame.

You mentioned your mom. If she fell victim to what happened to Erin Andrews and some perv videos were all over the internet and she sued and got a bunch of money...yay for mom, right?
