I have a commentary to voice.

I don't rightly know the basics to signature-makings, but from what I can tell from those gracious enough to create some for me, (namely: brcook, SilentB, eyeless, & toolz) I would think the background is an important part.

How do you choose them? Do you routinely make your own, or do you borrow from other mediums?

If the answer is the latter, I think this thread would benefit greatly from the "wallpapers" thread we also have here, since people can choose what is available to them, and ask their preferred signature-creator how to incorporate the girl and background dynamically.

For example:
If I wanted, say Jammsbro, to create me a new sig that used any one of the wallpapers found here, he would have a definite limit and understanding of basically how I would like my hypothetical creation to look.

 

If someone wants a sig made from a certain image or theme, its no problem. Thats what this thread is for.....to show off, and to honor a request. You want something specific? Then just say so.

 

I would love one with Brittany Daniel. Do I supply pics?

I use both depending on the existing background of the main subject. I started using backgrounds for all (like the first one I made you) but for some it was unnecessary. I'll put a few out here eventualy that I havent used yet. I need to organise my "spares" among the 100's I've already made.
